A top-end bungalow at the luxurious project of Sentosa Cove at Paradise Island was sold for a record price of S$36 million which is equivalent to S$2,403 psf. In terms of both the absolute amount and unit land price, this is believed to be the most expensive house in the upscale waterfront district.
Overall sales of new private home for the month of May came to 1,078 units - about half of the total of April’s near-record number of 2,208 units sold. Although May’s number of transactions are the lowest for the year, prices have held from the previous month and sales numbers, while substantially lower, are still considered a good showing.
